Aspects of Love
West End superstar Michael Ball will take to the stage at the Lyric Theatre to lead this reimagining of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s heartfelt musical, Aspects of Love. This deep and moving tale of romance spans 17 years and takes theatregoers on a journey from the Streets of Paris to the Pyrenees mountains.
Based on the novel by David Garnett, Aspects of Love follows lovers Alex and Rose as they embark on a passionate affair in an isolated villa owned by Alex’s uncle, George. When George arrives from Paris, a complex tale of deceit and longing unfolds. The musical made its West End debut in 1989, with Michael Ball playing the young lead, Alex. In this new revival, directed by Jonathan Kent (Gypsy; Singin’ in the Rain), Ball will play Uncle George.
Aspects of Love at the Lyric Theatre promises an opportunity to see one of London’s greatest musical theatre stars return to a show that helped cement their fame. Any musical-lover will not want to miss this.
